Have looked after animals from Horses, to Dogs, to cats since 15 years of age. I had neighbours in the UK who used to rely on me. And now here in the US. I started out volunteering at an animal shelter in North Wales UK, where I grew up, volunteered at an Equine Therapy centre, where I even received actual training and earnt a certificate. Pet sat for close friends and friends of friends. Have done some dog walking and now work with dogs. I do know how to administer medication if needs be. I’m comfortable looking after any age. And any size. The bigger the better.

My dogs loved Lindsay! We have an assortment of animals, and they were all well taken care of. It was nice knowing the dogs would be in their own home. I felt confident that everything would be taken care of, and the house was clean when we came home.
Lindsay has a kind and gentle spirit. Bailey took to her right away. She treated Bailey like her own fur baby and it really put our minds at ease during our vacation. The daily photos and updates were very helpful! Thank you, Lindsay!

Whilst your pet is with me in my own home, I would indeed be keeping your pet on a leash as I do not have a fenced in yard but I LOVE to walk and exercise so they would be getting lots of that as well as extra snuggles and little trips out in the car, so long as they do well with this! My parents live about 15 mins away from myself and have a large fenced in yard where I like to take my fur baby to run and chase after the ball. As long as I had permission to do so, your pet would be able to join in off leash as long as they aren’t clever enough to jump the fence. In your own home I would ask you for a detailed list of instructions. Easy to understand. I can take them for walks, cuddle with them, let them out. Depending on health needs I am comfortable with and do know how to administer medication. I also love to keep pet parents Pupdated and would love to send you pictures of your fur babies’ time whilst you’re away so you know they are safe, well and comfortable.

I would need to know if a dog is destructive in the home or not. If this is the case, then I do ask you provide your furry loved one with a crate whilst I’m working my open shifts, so that nothing in my own space is destroyed. I will need to know if they’re potty trained, have any extra needs that need attention too. Behaviours with other dogs, children and cats. And whether they can escape a fence? Good off leash? Favourite place to walk. This can all be discussed upon booking with myself though. I do like lists, so anything you feel is necessary to know about your fur baby would be beneficial to me.
A typical day
A typical day with myself, when looking after your pup might be a car ride to a nice park where we can walk to their hearts content. If good off leash, a trail might be included where they can run and chase a ball. I like to take my own dog to the dog park and if you were comfortable this could also happen. Nap times with some T.V. Time included and lots of snuggles. A trip to sonic for a pup cup! Puzzle games with lots of treats may also be included in their stay with myself! It’s nothing less than boring with myself. I’m always adventuring somewhere!

Availability
I do currently work; I work open shifts, which allows me to have more flexibility in my afternoons. I currently own a dog of my own. I would not initially leave mine or yours alone in a room together until tested in small portions. If this was able to happen. Your pet would not be alone and would have a friend whilst I work in the early hours of the morning. Other than that I am very flexible. I have no other commitments besides work. I usually get Sundays and Mondays off, so your pet is guaranteed to have two full days with myself and my own furry companion Doug. Pup cups for the win!
