Pet care experience
In high school, I volunteered at my local humane society where I took care of cats and various dog breeds, at all life stages. In primary and middle school, I partook in 4H where I participated in dog shows with my childhood dog, Bella. A lot of my knowledge in canine behavior is derived from when I worked with a private, one on one, dog trainer for two years for my current dog, Cleo. I also have experience in dealing with leash aggression/reactivity. Ever since I was a little girl, I have been a lover of all animals at heart. I grew up taking care of multiple types of animals, including dogs, cats, horses, rabbits and small rodents. I am familiar with the modern husbandry of these animals and continue to stay up to date with each.

Good afternoon...My name is Pete and I have gotten to know Lindsay through training her wonderful dog Cleo. What most impresses me about Lindsay is her concern and caring for not only her dog but the dogs around her that she is responsible for. It is not often that you find young people with a high sense of responsibility but I knew Lindsay had it because she wanted to make sure her dog got good training and quite honestly she has done a superb job with Cleo I can only imagine she would do a superb job with other dogs she is asked to watch or walk.
I don't know where to start. Lindsay is a very caring and loving girl to everyone in her life , especially the dogs she watches. She has her own dog that she diligently works with to become a great pet. She follows trainers instructions and then puts them into action when she is at home. Lindsay honestly takes care of dogs/pets in her life as they were her own. I would highly recommend her watching and caring for any pets I have. Lindsay has had multiple different kinds of pets (dogs, hamsters) and has helped me walk my dogs and feed my lizards! (She’s a well rounded individual!) I have seen the way she interacts with all of her pets and she goes above and beyond (you should’ve seen her set up for her hamsters). Her dogs are energetic and she is good about getting them outside and playing with them!

A typical day
I love to play games with dogs that don't only keep them physically active, but stimulate them mentally. My favorite things to do with my own dog are to play fetch and treasure hunt. I also find encouraging dogs to play with wobble toys and puzzles engages them in a way that physical exercise does not.

Availability
I'm currently a full time college student around the greater chicago area, and in the summer I have plenty of time to care for and play with your pups. I have flexible availability, but I am typically available everyday after 10AM through 4PM.
