With 10yrs experience owning a pet supply company in the midwest (including many opportunities to learn best practices for handling, behavioral issues, and health issues), 3 years fostering in a breed rescue, and before that 4 years experience working at a veterinary clinic (developing skills for caring for dogs with mild to moderate behavioral or medical challenges) I'm a well informed dog-sitter. As a homeowner myself, I understand the responsibility of caring for your property as if it was my own. Thanks to learning from immediate family in property management, I have the know-how to triage most house-related issues. I am a non-smoker, non drug-user. Unfortunately, a cat allergy means I am unable to housesit homes with cats. NOTE on aggressive dogs: For an extra fee, I will accept situationally-aggressive dogs for care, provided there's communication around the pup's issues and the chance to meet the dog before you depart.

Lindsay is so great! She sends the best updates that capture our dogs quirks, leaves the home spotless, and even left us a meal so we wouldn't need to grocery shop the moment we came home. It's so good to know that come home to a happy dog.
Lindsay is wonderful! Ollie (my dog) warmed to her right away -- she has a ton of love for dogs, and it shows. While I was out of town, Lindsay housesat and took Ollie on lots of walks and outings and sent me photo updates along the way. I came home to a happy and healthy dog who was sad to see her go, and a well cared for house (she even cleaned the sheets and made the bed -- it was like an extra night of vacation)! Highly recommend.
Lindsay made sure our dog Sa’sa was well fed, well loved and stayed out of mischief while we journeyed to the Oregon coast for a week. She also ensured our house remained unburgled and left it cleaner than she found it, which with an infant and a dog that sheds is saying A LOT. It was such a joy and pleasure to leave our space and our pet in her care and would gladly do so again.
Lindsay is a completely delightful human being with a love for animals. She is conscientious and thoughtful and cares about doing things the way you prefer in your home. When you leave Lindsay in charge you can truly take a vacation!
