Pet care experience
As a child, my family raised and bred lab retrievers. I’ve always had dogs, and I currently live with my best friend, a snuggly 13 year old Labradoodle. We walk and play daily. I’ve got time, steps and space to share with new furry friends. I worked for 8 years at Walt Disney World in Orlando. And returned home to northern WI. Aside from likely frostbite, I also acquired a new group of lovable and eccentric characters in my life: my little Oakley and our fabulous Rover guests and friends. I left behind the cold, but with it a house and fenced yard. So my services will be limited to visits and walks. I enjoy the sun and warm while walking on my own, but now I seek out cooler, shadier trails and paths when walking with my adorable (but over adorned) puppy pals. I am available for house sitting if there is room for me and Oakley.

Lindsay was truly extraordinary! Our fur baby, Bailey, has separation anxiety, but she immediately felt comfortable with Lindsay and Oakley! Lindsay is such a kind-hearted person, and she will take care of your fur baby like her own. She also sends pictures and updates! Lindsay is the best sitter we have ever used, and she will be our go-to from here on out!
We had an amazing experience with Lindsay. Our dogs are large (70+ lbs) and can be leash reactive and she managed them great on walks. She went above and beyond while caring for our pets while we were out of town and we are grateful we found her!

If booking for a house sitting adventure, I can adapt to the schedule and requirements of the homeowner’s request. And Oakley is actually easier to adapt than I am. The papers say labradoodle, but Chameleodoodle may be more accurate.

I treat each walk with the pet as if it’s their special adventure. I allow them to roam and sniff and discover the outside world at their pace. I will provide a structured walk if the client prefers that for training or obedience purposes. But I just love how happy the dogs become when they can follow their wandering curiosity rather than a direct route.
A typical day
Having just returned to the area after a 14 year hiatus, I’m looking forward to exploring with your dogs while we head out on our walks. I can gauge each dog’s individual activity level and unique interests and cater our walks or visit to meet those needs.

Availability
I primarily work as a seasonal swim coach, with short 1-2 hour shifts. Otherwise, I have schedule flexibility to walk and perform visits when needed.
