Pet care experience
Hello - I've had dogs in my life since I got my first puppy in 1991. In the two years I've fostered and found homes for 25 different dogs. I have a friendly yellow lab who loves company. I work outside the house now, so I would like to kennel dogs I am watching when I do leave my house - at least the first time I care for them. Additionally I have had a couple dogs that have relieved themselves in my house regularly. Therefore I now require a kennel trained dog so he/she will be kenneled when I am not home. My yard is big with a 6 foot privacy fence. And I'd love to start caring for dogs so they don't have to be put in boarding while their families are out of town. Please let me answer any questions you have! "You had me at Woof!" :) PS: I have three boys who love dogs too - they are 10, 10 and 12 years old.
Reviews
Caring and thoughtful caregiver for my senior “puppy”!
Linda was awesome - I highly recommend her! Will definitely use her again!
Easy to work with, great with my dog, good communication skills.
Linda took great care of our dog, Max! She was patient with my scared dog and soon he was super comfortable and performing his little tricks. She was kind enough to send us text updates with photos. We would highly recommend Linda to other dog owners?.

Information Linda V. would like to know about your pet
Its important that your dog be ok with pre-teen kids and my big dog. If your dog is not house trained, they might expect to be in their kennel during the day, or in just my kitchen/dining area as I will be working and might be unable to make a dash toward the door. Does your dog chew? Bark? Use a kennel?
A typical day
One loop around my block is about a half mile. I also have 1 mile routes and longer routes that I walk my dog on. The morning, breakfast routine would include a run in the yard with my pup, breakfast and then getting my kids to the school bus at 9am. This is when I usually do a quick mile walk before getting back to work. Throughout the day, your dog will have free access to my house and dog as I work. I often take breaks and let them outside into the back yard. Sometimes I work on my deck so they would hang out there with me. Kids come home around 4pm. We often have evening activities where the dogs might get to go with. No matter - lights out for the kids (and dogs) is usually around 9pm so I can have some alone time before my lights are out too.
