Loving, Patient Pet Care
Pet care experience
I have had dogs and cats in my life since a very young age. I have rescued many lost/abandoned cats and dogs and have fostered many cats through the organization Kitty Connection including a pregnant cat who gave birth to 6 kittens at my house. I have dog sat and cat sat for friends and neighbors for more than 40 years. I have a 5 year cockapoo named Rosie and a 9 year old cat named Gus. Gus has inflammatory bowel syndrome and I currently give him prednisone pills daily and B-12 injections weekly. Currently I take care of my neighbors 2 male French bulldogs, feeding them lunch and dinner, letting them out for potty breaks every 2-3 hours and walking them once or twice a day. I love to walk and have walked large breeds and small breeds. Patience, consistency and kindness goes a long way when you first meet a new dog to walk. I treat every pet as if it were my own and their needs are my priority. My husband says I am too hyper for my own good. I love animals and I love to walk and stay busy. What I don’t like is sitting at home and watching t.v.
Reviews
Linda took wonderful care of my two older kitties while I was away on vacation. She made sure they took their right doses of medication, was patient with their apprehension to a new person in their space, and took her time to let them come to her. She also kept their space tidy which is much appreciated. I would have Linda back anytime. It was a huge relief and comfort to know they were in such good hands while I was away. <3
Great 1st experience hiring Linda! She was wonderful with an energetic PUPPY as well as our active adult dog. Her communication was perfect and was always on time for multiple visits. Allowed us to get-away without worrying about our furry friends. Thanks much Linda!
Linda was great with Pippin and very responsive!
Amazing! So communicative & just a delight to interact with. Stevie is always happy on days Linda comes!

Currently I have been my neighbors pet sitter for the last 16 months. Allie leaves for work at between 6:30 am 8:15 am. I will go over starting 2 hours after she leaves to let the dogs out for a potty break and every 2-3 hours after that until an hour before she is scheduled to be home. Certain days of the week she works a part time job and she gets home about 10:30 p.m. so the last potty break is around 9:00. On my second potty break of the day I usually play a game with the dogs. I hide a treat for each dog on one of the levels of the house or outside and let them hunt for it. Besides that game I will break up their day by throwing a ball for them on cooler, dry days. Lunch is at 2:00 p.m. and dinner is at 6:00. I take them for a 35 minute walk around 5:00. I make sure they have fresh water throughout the day. I bring in Allie’s mail and delivered packages, bring in grocery orders and put cold/frozen foods away, bring her garbage cans back up the driveway. If needed, I will switch her wet clothes from washer to dryer. If her dogs need their nails cut happy to cut while she holds and distracts if needed. I am happy to help with extras she needs help with.
Information Linda S. would like to know about your pet
Please let me know if your pet has any behavioral issues such as leash aggression, dog aggression or pulling while walking. Will you provide poop bags or should I bring my own. Any special places he likes to visit on a walk.
A typical day
I love to play games with pets. I will hide treats and let them find it. I will play tug of war with dogs or throw a ball if their yard is fenced. When first walking a dog in a new area, I like to establish a route so I know what things to look out for such as busy streets or aggressive dogs in yards. If a park is nearby I would prefer to go there.
