Reviews
I rarely leave my fur baby with anyone. Linda & Robert were fantastic! Zoe was well cared for. The communication was exceptional. Very thankful for the love shown to my sweet girl.
Linda and Robert sent a picture to us every day showing the dogs playing outside, along with brief updates on how our dogs were doing. They got to run around and play with balls in the big, grassy, fenced-in structure, which was especially good for our 40 pound dog that has really high energy! The day we took the dogs back home, they were really sleepy, so I know they got great exercise! That made me REALLY happy. Something I wish I had known was that the glass kennel room the dogs were staying in (the size of a large walk in closet) is in a separate building than the main house. That separate building is like a shop/garage that is used as Bob’s office space, and also contains the glass kennel room. One of our dogs has separation anxiety (the 20 pound dog) and I am guessing he didn’t love being isolated like that. It is, however, important to note that there is a camera in there that allows Linda and Bob to keep an eye on the dogs! And again, Bob works in there (just not sure how often), so the dogs were absolutely safe and looked after in their glass kennel room, they just didn’t have human company overnight (it’s possible that this info was shared with me ahead of time and I just didn’t remember it or something). Our dogs have only ever been watched/dogsat at our friend’s and family’s houses, so we are not very familiar with how regular dog boarding works. I had a hard time knowing they were being kept in that glass kennel room when they weren’t playing outside in the fenced enclosure. I’m used to them being inside a house with people around to interact with them. That’s more on me though, I really should have asked ahead of time what their day to day life would look like during their stay. My only other complaint was I wish that our dogs could have played with their poodle. Linda said with all the dog sicknesses going around, they’ve been keeping their dog away from dogs they board, which I TOTALLY understand and I do not fault them for that, I just wish I had known. Part of why we chose to book with Bob and Linda was so our hyper dog would have another dog to play with (our smaller dog just wants to snuggle and be with humans- he doesn’t play with our bigger dog very often). Ultimately what matters is our dogs came home well-exercised, and they seemed perfectly happy. Bob and Linda were very kind, very responsive, and easy to work with. Oh, and I REALLY appreciated how clean the dog’s glass kennel room was (spotless, pristine, no bad odors)!
Penny had a great time with Londa and Robert! They have a great space for dogs and Penny was well loved and cared for. Already working on another booking!
Lots of space for Coco, she as safe and can tell she played. Got picture updates while we were out of town, Thanks again!
