I’m an ideal dog sitter and walker because I love dogs and want to make sure they receive the best care and service that any pet owner would expect. I’m a great dog sitter because I have experience; I had a cocker spaniel for 12 years and have all the experience in being a dog owner, walker, sitter, and attention giver. I can’t help but want to pet all dogs I come across. If I see runaway dog I can’t help but want to rescue them. I found runaway terrier and fostered it for two months until I found a family for her. I did not want her to wait in a shelter to be adopted. I know how it feels to lose a dog and I feel it’s a duty to rescue dogs and reunite them with their owners, or find a family that would appreciate and love an abandoned dog. I work full time from 7am-330pm and would enjoy the company of a dog in the evenings and on weekends. I live in a one-bedroom apartment that is pet friendly. I may not have a yard, but live in a beautiful apartment complex that can accommodate a walk. Your dog will not be restricted to any space in the apartment and can jump on my couch to lay and relax. I live a couple blocks away from Mast Park (dog friendly) and would take your dog there for a walk or run. While I care for your dog you will be provided with status updates by text messages to keep you informed that your dog is healthy and happy. I will provide your dog with snacks, water, and food if approved by pet owner. The reason I signed up with Rover to be a dog sitter is to save up money for a down payment in a home with a yard. I would like to ultimately have a home where I can be a foster parent to dogs that are looking for new families instead of being in a shelter waiting to be adopted.
