I'm an active person, therefore my dog is also active. After 5 years together we still loves walks. We take multiple walks a day. For our walks I take into consideration the weather. For hot days I'll bring water and a bowl with us. We'll take breaks in the shade. For cold days is sweater weather for both of us. The walk maybe short but we will work in burst of sprints. When there is ice outside its booties time. My mom has had her cat for 11 years. She works 12 hours days. When I visit or cat sit I will shower her with attention. Sometimes I'll sit on the floor and pet her. But most times her preferred petting style is to walk around the house while I tag along and pet her. Also with her cat being a little older there is an importance for her to eat slow. I will give her half her regular morning meal wait 20min and give her the 2nd half. I understand that it's the small details and patience while taking care of pets. I will continue my calm caring self with your pet too!
