Pet care experience
I’ve had my own dogs and cats for 40+ years. I am semi-retired so at home a lot. I have a fenced yard with a pool which some of the dogs I’ve watched love, especially Bella & Addy. If the dogs don’t like water or are old, I am always outside when I let them out so they won’t fall in. I had a 15 year old poodle that had vision and walking issues, so I am well versed on keeping them safe. Sometimes I take the dogs to Trophy Lakes to walk around the water (off-leash if they are good listeners or on-leash if they aren’t) and even in the water to chase balls or sticks. I love the unconditional love and companionship of dogs and I’m happy to share it with your dog too. I own and care for cats too and even cared for a pig before.

I have a fenced yard that is pesticide free and two big tubs of dog toys. I have extra beds, crates and bowls if needed as well. My neighborhood has sidewalks so it’s great for taking walks. I also have a dog first aid kit if needed.

Let me know about any special needs or issues. Also, it’s important that your dog is treated for fleas and ticks and please share what method/products you use. I am mostly holistic with my pets, but they are treated with natural products as is my yard.
A typical day
I have 2 baskets of dog toys (1 upstairs and 1 downstairs) and some treat puzzles, lick mats, a dog ball and a foam disc shooter, squeaky tennis balls and a couple Chuck Its. It will be like your dog is going on a vacation when they stay with me! And if they don’t like to play, then they can lay on my lap or sit beside me while I watch TV or read a book.

I am currently babysitting a little girl in my neighborhood Monday-Thursday, but come home for lunch and visits throughout the day. I am home all day Friday-Sunday.
