I am an avid dog lover and have been a dog parent and grandparent for many, many years. I will care for your fur baby as if he/she were my own ( and my own are pretty pampered). I enjoy my little Lahasa Apso princess, we take walks, play fetch with squeaky toys, and have lots of toys and comfy beds I have dog- sit for family and friends many times.

Linda is a wonderful person and a tremendous dog sitter. We have always used kennels in the past but decided to give Rover a try at the suggestion of a relative. It's the best decision we could have made for our furbaby. We struck gold with Linda because she's caring, compassionate and very reliable. She does what she says and does it when she says it. But the best measure of dog sitter is how your dog reacts and he clearly likes Linda. They've become the best of buddies during his stay and we're looking forward to using Linda for our future boarding needs.
Linda is the best!! As the pawrent of a 6lb dog, it’s a huge comfort to know that she only takes small dogs. She sent several videos to show how Wellington was adjusting and to show him exploring the backyard, going for a walk, and napping on Linda’s lap. Our dog was rescued just a couple months ago and this was our first time leaving him with a dog sitter. The fact that he fell asleep on Linda’s lap is a testament to how safe and loved our little doggie felt during his stay. It was a delight to hear about our dog’s day, and while we live out of state, Linda will be our go-to sitter whenever we’re visiting the area - which is a couple times a year due to close friends who live nearby. Thank you, Linda!!
Linda is our little pals home away from home! He lights up when we mention her name. Her detailed compassionate care is consistently over the top!
Linda was great with our dog Maggie. She is very attentive and we feel comfortable that Maggie is well cared for when she is with Linda. Linda sent videos and messages frequently to keep us informed as to how things were going. We would definitely use Linda again.

I will care for your pet in my own home. I have a large fenced -in back yard, a covered deck & patio. I have dogs beds, toys and and a @ large pens for inside which I use if I have to leave the house for short periods of time and they are quite content . I never leave them alone in the yard. We have two very nice parks nearby. The majority of time, my dog is inside but is free to roam ,play ,sleep ,eat, and they are welcomed on my sofa and chair. So we are a pretty content family. ******For the Safety of all dogs I care for I require you to provide PROOF of your Dog's up- to- date vaccinations; Rabies , Bordetella ( kennel cough), Corona virus, Distemper, Parvo, FLEA & TICK treatment. I love cats, but it would not be a good fit with the dogs ,I'm afraid.

I would like a day's notice to book and if there are changes in the pick up day or time. Other than that I am flexible with time. FOR SAFETY REASONS I require Vet Clinic Proof of your dog(S) current immunization records Rabies, Bordetella ( kennel cough), Distemper, Parvo, Corona virus and FLEA & TICK treatments. This is for the safety of all dogs in my care including my own dogs. I'm sorry but I don't board kitties .
A typical day
We have two very nice large parks in my neighborhood, within walking distance. Dogs are welcome if on leash and attended by owner, of course. They usually deserted on the week days, so we have the parks to ourselves. Flea & Tick Prevention treatment are important. We take walks around the block too, weather permitting. My back yard is large fenced- in with locked gates where dogs enjoy running around as I enjoy watching and interacting with them.We have lots of in-door squeaky toys to play with.

Im a retired nurse so, I'm flexible and have plenty of time to care for your little dog. I prefer Small dogs under 32 pounds. But I am flexible ; a bit over is Ok if your dog is older and less active. I have a small rescue female Lahasa Apso who is about 9 years old.She is moderately active and is allowed in and out frequently. We takes walks at least once a day weather permitting and I have a wagon for her to ride in when she isn't in the mood to walk.She loves it and I still get my exercise, and we get lots of laughs from passers by. ( see picture gallery).
