MY PETS HAVE BEEN MY BEST MATE!
Pet care experience
I have had pets the last 30 plus years. Until recently I had 2 massive ginger toms, TJ and Boo and a border collie called Dino. Sadly, my last furry friend passed away. I miss them. I plan on getting a dog at some stage but it’s early days so in the meantime my daughter suggested I register with Rover. I’ve always looked after dogs and cats for my friends and neighbours since I was a child. I love animals - my best thing is going for a walk in nature with a furry friend. I even took my cats for walks round our very large garden - well they would follow me!
Reviews
We have used Linda twice now for our pup Zara and each time Linda has been amazing! Its a home away from home and I couldn’t recommend booking with Linda more. The love and care Zara gets and seeing how happy she is in pictures. 100% recommend to anyone wanting to book. Thank you!!
Linda and Lana were absolutely brilliant! Photos and Videos of Zara. It was a home away from home for our pup, she had the best time and care. I would recommend to anyone who is looking for the best quality care and love for your pup. Will 100% be booking in the future. Thank you
Home away from home for our Luca. A piece of heaven for him to run around and genuine dog lovers Linda and Lana who shower him with a lot of love and care. This is the 4th time we are leaving him there, this time for 4 weeks. we had a great holiday knowing Luca was safe and looked after. 💕
Fletch had a lovely time with Linda, who sent me l updates and videos which helped me know he had settled well I really appreciated Linda’s feedback about how he was there.

I have a very large garden and a small woods. I always go out into the garden with any pets I look after. I live on the river so may not be suitable for any dog that’s crazy about water - as soon as they see it they dive in! Dino, my border collie, would only go in if he could see the bottom! Obviously happy to have getting to know you visits beforehand. Before going on walks I do a recall assessment so I can gauge how responsive they are. I trained Dino with lots of positive reinforcement - am happy to use treats too if permitted by owner.

Information Linda J. would like to know about your pet
Is your dog crazy about water? My border collie would only go in if he could see the bottom. We live on the river Thames so if your dog is crazy about water - so as soon as he/she see it they make a dive for it - this venue would not be suitable. Anything else I should know? Are they spooked by anything in particular? My Dino would run a mile if he saw a sail on a sailing boat! Are they very nervous/take a bit of time to settle in new places - if yes, then I would take a more laid back introduction and let them come to me once settled. Also need to know if they have any allergies and any medicine schedule. Am always happy to do a meet and greet here.
A typical day
I live next to a large park and woods and have a large garden to play catch the ball and play tennis and chase in.

I’m semi-retired and work from home. We have had pets in the house for years - we are relaxed about beds and furniture and are happy for pets to sleep in the bedrooms either in their bed or on the bed!
