Pet care experience
I'm a retired registered optician from Vienna and Richmond, VA. I want to stay busy in retirement. As a child I helped my dad deliver puppies and care for them. I used pablum as weaning food then. I have always owned a dog and sometimes cats. Now I'm fully retired in Venice with my husband and little 10 lb chihuahua, Itty. She is 8 years old, spayed, chipped and always up to date on her rabies vaccination. I care for only one little dog at a time. My husband, Fred, helps a lot. I take care of just your fur baby and our baby Itty. 🐕 One little dog at a time 🐕

Our dog, Coco, seemed very happy staying with Linda. She sent us several pictures showing him doing various things in her home. When I took him back the next day, he was eager to go into the house. To me, that was a sign that he had a very good time with her. Linda is very thoughtful and she loves taking care of our dog. I plan on using her often and have already booked her for several overnight in May
This was my first time using rover and I’m so glad I was able to find such a wonderful family to take care of my little fur baby Max. Linda, Fred, and Itty are amazing! Linda is so kind and thoughtful she sent me short videos and pictures while I was away! Answered all my questions and made me feel at ease!! This will be Max’s second home when we are away from home! Definitely recommend Linda to anyone who wants exceptional care for their pup!!

Many small dogs don't do well in a kennel environment. I provide a home environment where your dog will be pampered. Our little dog Itty will be the only other dog here. Your little fur baby is allowed on furniture and can sleep in our bed. And most of all, my husband and I provide your baby with love. Your dog may be fully house broken at your house but they often have little accidents due to separation anxiety. Our floors are pet friendly. These little accidents are not a problem at all. I want you to be able to relax while you are separated from your fur baby. Maybe you have a special needs dog who requires a little more help; I am a nurturer and love to provide that extra love and attention. Choose me if you want your dog to be in a loving home environment and receive lots of attention. We are fully retired and at home most of the time. Right off of 75 at exit 191. I need to know that your dog is up to date on their rabies vaccination. A meet and greet is required before booking. Your dog needs to have a valid rabies tag. Does your dog have any special needs? Are there any things or situations that upset your little one? Does your dog have any allergies that you know of?
A typical day
First I need to earn your dog's trust and affection. I can take your little dog for leash walks in our grass backyard or on the sidewalk in our neighborhood. Please bring any favorite toys or blankets that your doggie loves. Fred and I like to get out on the water at least once a week. Are you okay with us leaving your pup at home with our Itty for 4-5 hours? Linda
