Welcome to our dog paradise!
Pet care experience
We can't wait to host your dog at our little dog paradise. We live on an acre and half of land in North Portland, close to the Columbia River. We have a large fenced in yard with plenty of room to roam and play, and a doggie door so your dog can access the yard at all times we are home. Because there are two of us, Lily and Becca, with different work schedules, at least one of us will be around a majority of the day. During their stay, your dog will enjoy long daily walks and trips to the park, lots of snuggles and treats, and the utmost attention they deserve. As of right now, we can only sit for dogs who get along with other dogs, as we have our own fur-baby, Jackson. He is very well behaved and gets along great with everyone. He is a great companion dog for shy or timid pups. We also have chickens roaming free in the yard, so your dogs will have to be bird friendly (we can test that out if you're not certain.) We'll provide you with daily photos and video updates on how your pup is doing, that way you can enjoy your time away, knowing your dog is well taken care of.
Reviews
Excellent!! This was my first time leaving Moji with a Rover Sitter and Lily was great. Worked well with my nervous dog. She listened to all I had to share about Moji's special manner and needs. I will definitely use her again and highly recommend her services. She has a nice demeanor and is very respectful :). Cheers Lily
Lily made it easier to be away from our hounds, was a good communicator and meshed well with our other care-giver. Trust her with your fuzzy buddies.
Perfect!
Lily was an excellent sitter for our dog Juni. She sent pictures throughout the week and took Juni on multiple walks and hiking adventures. Thanks Lily!!

Information Lily W. would like to know about your pet
We love all dogs and understand that some dogs don't get along well with others. Unfortunately, we can only accommodate dogs that are friendly to other pooches. Our dog, Jackson, is a great dog companion for those who are shy, or need a little coaxing to come out of their shell. He is confident and calm and does not get in other dogs faces. We love active dogs and are used to exercising Jackson (running, not just walking) 1-3 times a day. We welcome older or arthritic dogs, as well, and can go as slow as needed for their comfort and health. We understand that it's hard to train your dogs to be "perfect," especially if you adopted them as an adult. As long as you are aware of your own dogs behavioral issues, we are more than happy to work with them while you are away. Lily has experience working with dogs at the Oregon Humane Society, where she volunteers, as well as doing basic training with dogs. Does your dog love fetch? Excellent! So does ours! We go to the park at least once a day to play fetch. We ask that you let us know ahead of time if your dog is not good off leash, as we sometimes go to dog parks that are not completely fenced.
A typical day
Lily works mornings, and Becca works in the late afternoons, so your dog won't be left alone for long. Walks are given in the morning, and then an outing of some sort (dog park, river front or school yard nearby) takes place in the afternoon or early evening, with another walk later in the evening before bed. If your dog is crate trained, we can accommodate your crate as well. On weekends, we like to go to Thousand Acres dog park, Chimney dog park, or on a hike somewhere in the surrounding wilderness.
