I have been Rovering since 2018, doing at-your-home overnight stays for traveling pet owners in whatever city I’m currently residing in! Growing up with a house full of pets, spending many hours volunteering and advocating for local shelters, and having spent nearly 10 years with my own furry pal, this job is a no-brainer for me. I understand how each critter has his or her very own personality, and how important it is they feel safe and loved! I am a patient and intuitive caregiver and detail-oriented worker. During house sitting stays, I try to mimic the pet’s usual routine so that they don’t have to experience a lot of change while you’re gone - so they can enjoy having company from the comforts of their home. I have experience with cats, blind and/or temperamental dogs (puppies to seniors), turtles and lizards. I can also take care of mail/packages, garbage, fish feeding, plant watering - anything I can do to give you some piece of mind while you’re away! Key notes: I live in Bismarck with my two cats, husband, and 3-month-old son. Currently, I am my baby’s full-time caregiver while my husband works, so he will be with me during stays (I’ll bring my pack-n-play and stroller), and I must limit stays to kid-friendly critters only. I know it can be tough finding help in rural areas, so if you are in or near North Dakota, I can drive out to you for lengthy stays.
