I have a fenced in backyard, and I do not own any personal pets. I cater to owners' schedules and needs with their pets. I will try my best to stick to a very similar schedule to what the pet has at home if they are boarding. I have owned reactive dogs in the past, so I also keep a careful eye on any animals that are skittish, reactive, and/or sensitive. I also try to clean the house regularly throughout the week and in between/throughout boarding visits just to make sure that the animals don't adapt different habits based on scents while here. While doing drop-in visits or house sitting, I typically spend either the entire desired time, whole day/ evening there other than errands or necessary to-do's outside of the house. I think that it is in everyone's best interest to stick to the pet's schedule and comfortability, so I am happy to adapt to whatever that may be.
