Pet care experience
I've had family dogs, walked friends of the family's dogs, met dogs through BorrowMyDoggy and walked/dog sat for years now, since 2017 which was sadly the year we lost our beloved family dog. I have such a passion for the wellbeing and care for dogs as it is, however being on a platform such as BMD, has allowed me to grow, and realise how well I can read dogs' signals, accommodate all needs, whether special or general, and simply just be there for the dog's ever need. I have some regular dogs I see weekly, that bring happiness and joy into my life every week. I wouldn't change it for anything! The wet muddy paw prints left behind after a great hike out at Tyneham or the damp dog smell goes hand in hand for why regardless of the mess they can leave behind, all dogs are just so worth it! Their company is beyond so healthy for human beings and I truly believe that everyone needs a therapy dog in their life!!
Reviews
Lily has taken my vizsla out on several occasions. Her communication has always been great and she’s been on time with both pick ups and drop offs. Adding to this, my dog is always really happy to see her :) Lily
I have joined Lily for dog walks with a variety of dogs, mainly large breeds. I have spent time seeing her interact and entertain the dogs she is looking after for their owners. I have also asked Lily to look after my elderly cocker spaniel while I was away. Lily has a good approach being confident and understanding the variety of breeds and different ages of the dogs that are under her care. She is a very capable person
Lily is amazing with dogs! She loves to go on long walks, she’s looked after my puppy and he absolutely loved it! She sent me updates and made sure he ate on time, was walked and safely placed in her car to be brought back home. I couldn’t recommend her more, your doggo is in great hands!
Lily has been walking our golden retriever for a number of years now and is great with him he’s always very happy to see her as he knows he’s in for a nice walk!

I have a fabulous all-safe fenced and enclosed garden for dogs of all sizes, with lots of plants and grass to sniff! We have a locked garden gate so no unwanted guests can have access. In addition I have a lovely private home where the doggos are welcome to be if the weather isn't so good. I have many forest walks nearby, beautiful beach walks on tap in under 10 minute drives. Amazing opportunities overall, in such a beautiful seaside town in Bournemouth. I can offer feeds, walks, the occasional overnight at my house, however preferably at the owner's house for the dog's comfort as priority. I am also adaptable to whatever special dogs needs they have.

Information Lily S. would like to know about your pet
Ideally, I'd like to know the following at first visit, but also to be reminded on this at each interaction, if possible: - Any allergies with regards to food/treats etc - If you're happy for me to provide my own treats for the dog to consume or if they're limited only to the ones provided by the owner - Any issues when it comes to getting the dog to drink water and often. If there are any tricks or commands to say to help the dog drink more. - Any general issues of the day; a loose stomach, any sickness prior to their visit with me or any general concerns that are outside of their usual behaviour. - How long ago the dog was last walked/let out for a wee/poo. - If there are any time restraints on the dogs walk/sitting.
A typical day
I always tend to collect the dogs if possible (however I have a small car so depends if possible) - We head straight out for a walk at the beach, the new forest or somewhere local to their home, before heading back to my home if booked. We will spend time out in the garden initially for 5 minutes each time, to ensure they're comfortable in the grounds. I will usually always stay with them too, to enable them to feel comfortable in their new or unfamiliar surroundings. The dog(s) will then just join in on my day.. as I cook, run errands or just generally chill in the garden.

Availability
I'm a freelance Graphic Designer and Events Manager, so I can work my schedule around the dogs or vice versa. I allocate my availability for the Events jobs as a second priority over my working from home Graphic Designer role. This allows me to provide more dog sitting and walking services where possibly needed. I can also be available last minute, and am happy to have last minute cancellations of a min of 2 days due to having quite a flexible work life balance.
