Pet care experience
I have worked on farms and as a pet-foster in WV, VA, and MD. I’ve always gotten call-backs and “thank you” letters. Before rover, I had church facebook pages and friends/family. I will be courteous, communicative, and on-time. I’m detailed with medicine and odd schedules. I’m big on cleanliness and text updates. If I don’t understand something, i will always ask! <3 I can also offer a back-round check information from another third party app, or any other contact information, references. I might be able to recommend some foster homes/boarding situations that would happily take in some new friends. I myself am completely smoke-free and sober. I am willing to work with anyone! :)

I have been a housekeeper and commercial janitorial cleaner, redcross cert lifegaurd for 3 years and I have some basic knowledge for pet swimming, CPR. If you have a pet that needs enrichment so that they don’t act out/get anxiety, i will gladly help them out of a boredom spell. :) I have briefly worked with foster cats, dogs, birds and reptiles. Most of them either had medical needs or needed special care because the previous owners were irresponsible. I hope to be an educator, advocate and protector of animals.The goal is to almost be like Steve irwin!

I have experienced bigger or more aggressive dog-handling, I am just more cautious about it depending on how often the walking is per day. I am a strong woman from my years of working on a farm, but just let me know how much leash training you’ve done, and i’ll definitely consider working with you. I want to be available even in challenging situations. preparation is key. If you have any doubts about territorial defensiveness, trust, separation anxiety, let me know and we can see if we find a middle ground for the furbaby. :) First-meetings in the home or at a park with you and the pet help so much!
A typical day
I study frequently so i’ll be doing that most of the time. But I do know of 3 parks in the area that I like walking/hiking at. I’m a frequent hiker so long walks i enjoy, even if the dog needs leash training. I’ve got my music so I’m good! I miss my black lab dog from childhood, frisbee and retrieving treat balls was my favorite thing to do with her.
