Dog Mom Loves Walks
Pet care experience
Only sitting dogs that are suitable for small children (under age 2) and under 30 lbs. Thanks! I'm available MOST holidays and weekends (except Christmas and NYE) so shoot me a message. I'll try my best to accommodate. ~ I'm a new mom with a toddler human. Living under the same roof while going to school with my husband and my elderly father. And of course, my dog Gracie :) We share our wonderful life with our adopted dog, Grace. My husband and I adopted Grace from a Texas animal shelter almost 2 years ago. Her litter was abandoned and all injured when they were found. She has had a profoundly "pawsitive" impact on our life. She has taught us a great deal about love, compassion, and second chances in life. She is friendly. She is very very skittish towards loud dogs. She is trained in all basic commands such as sit, down, drop it, stay, come, back away etc. She is jet black. She is medium sized and extremely quiet 95% of the time. She loves to play with other dogs and she still has the best puppy play stance (even though she's pretty much a young lady now!) The hubby works in one of those tall buildings downtown. You will most likely find me in the office or playing with Gracie outside in our small fenced backyard.
Reviews
Lily helped with daycare for about 2 weeks and I found her communicative and flexible. Overall a great experience.
Lily and her husband and pup Grace were the best!!! Met Lily and her dog Grace for a meet and greet & my dog and hers hit it off right away. They were running side by side & got along very well. Lily is very warm, sweet and conscientious. Asked about my dog's eating & potty habits and genuinely cared. Felt very safe knowing she'd have him overnight. :) My pup was bummed out to leave them and his new buddy Grace.
Lily is a dedicated and responsible worker. She loves all animals and enjoys cheeking their wet noses. Her communication skills are superb. I can usually expect a reply from her within 10 minutes. She is friendly, accepting, open minded and non-judgemental.
I've known Lily for several years. She has been a close friend of mine since 2012 when we began our friendship as just work colleagues. Lily is compassionate, honest, and dependable. She is knowledgeable with dogs and has gone through several training classes. She has transformed Grace (her rescue dog) from an insecure teenager to a lovely, well behaved young adult. She is not only driven to succeed - she is consistently pushing to do better and better. I wholeheartedly recommend her for any pet service or home sitting.

We live in a stand-alone 3 story townhome. Our yard is fenced. I like to go on walks with well behaved dogs - so if your dog is up for it and the weather's good, I'd be happy to walk them!

Information Lily H. would like to know about your pet
Because I have a dog, the first thing I will ask about is how your dog gets along with playmates. I also like to know as much as I can about your dog’s day-to-day life, routines, medical needs, training cues, anxieties, preferred games and treats, and any other pertinent information you think I should have.
A typical day
Day starts at 7 am. Dog walk is at 10-11AM. Lunch and nap time. Second dog walk is 4PM. Dinner is 7pm :) Occasional backyard potty breaks and free range around the house. Dogs can go on furniture like sofa etc. but not on the bed.
