Hello! A little about me… my name is Lily, I love working with, living with, watching, and helping animals when I can. I am 21 years old and am a veterinarian assistant in Ames Iowa. I have worked in a clinical setting for 3 almost 4 years and have been dog/cat sitting for about 6 years. I am originally from Cedar Rapids Iowa and moved to Ames to pursue my education. ATTENTION: In August 2024 I will be relocating out of Iowa to further my education.

Lily is absolutely amazing with our furbabies. She has great communication and she keeps us upto date if there's any concerns. Our furbabies absolutely love her! She even put little bows on them..such sweet touch. Highly recommend!!
Lily has always gone above and beyond for my doggo, Lily, always sending lots of updates and photos. She’s taken care of my pup multiple times when she wasn’t feeling well and always was amazing at following medication instructions and sending updates or asking questions when needed. Recently went out of the country for a couple weeks and drove 2+ hours for Lily to watch her simply for the peace of mind knowing she’s in great loving hands!

When it comes to me staying at someone’s house or visiting I always like to meet you first, this will show you that I am only there for the pets and am respectful with your property. If you were to need other household chores done I would be willing at no additional charge! Safety for your pets is my #1 priority and fun is the second. I will update you with photos daily! I can update as much as one request, I will also update if anything out of the ordinary occurs. (Ex: pet did not eat breakfast) Although this may be common when parents leave, it can be very important depending on the pet!

Things I want to know when I meet you: Please provide a written daily schedule prior to you leaving!! This will ensure you covered your pets basic care needs and that I do not miss anything! 1- Feeding routine & schedule 2- Health concerns ( any medication or supplements?) 3- Potty routine 4- Any special activities 5- Other household details I should be aware about (door or garage code, key, getting mail, taking trash out?)
A typical day
Every pets needs are different, I love creating a unique and fun environment for each pet that I stay with so they miss mom and dad a lil less.? Generally I love to be outdoors with dogs and active- walks, fetch, running around. Cuddles and just company are important too if one doesn’t like the outdoors as much!

If you have any questions regarding my schedule aligning with your pets prior to requesting just message me, I will not accept the request until we are both sure it works out! Once requested I will let you know how I plan to work around my work when it comes to caring for your pet. I will provide you with when I can be there and when I cannot to see if that’s something you’re comfortable with!
