Lily did an outstanding job with communicating and handling my pupper. A seamless stay that went off without of hiccup. Lily also took extra time to answer my questions and help make sure both me and my pup were comfortable with my puppers accomodations.

I never worry when Nora I’d say Lily’s. She takes such great care of her.

Safety, trust & environment

On hot days, I try to stay in the shade and off pavement when possible so the dog’s paws don’t get burned/dried out or get too hot out in the sun. In my home, I have lots of dog beds and toys so that the pups can be as cuddly or independent as they want! I also have the ability to separate my dogs should your dog need to be separate from other dogs! I always have dogs on leashes when on walks or outside the home, and have bowls for eating/drinking in separate locations for each dog.

Information Lily F. would like to know about your pet

Behaviors: I think it’s important for any sitter to be aware of any aggressive or anxious behaviors (i.e., separation anxiety, dog reactivity, fear reactivity, human reactivity, possessiveness, etc). I have experience with reactive and anxious dogs, and feel comfortable caring for dogs who are similar to this! Due to this, I will ask the following as it applies to your situation: - Where can (the dog) sleep at night? Crate, separate room, in their own bed? - Does your dog display or have ever displayed anxious behaviors (humping, excessive drooling, barking, digging, destroying, etc)? If so, what are the triggers for the anxiety (i.e., separation, toys) and what has helped the dog in the past to stop displaying these behaviors? - Does your dog display, or have ever displayed, any aggressive behaviors (biting, lunging, growling, etc)? If so, what triggers cause the behavior(s) (toys, food, attention, big dogs, little dogs, men, etc), and what has helped the dog in the past stop displaying these behaviors? - Does your dog have any specific fears or things they are reactive to? If so, what are they? - Does your dog have any history of neglect, fights (been attacked by humans/animals), or abuse? This helps me understand how to better accommodate your dog! - Has your dog had any experience with a dog of the opposite size? Some dogs may not get along with animals that are much larger or smaller than them. - Is your dog used to you being gone all day (vacation or work), or have they ever been away from you before? Most dogs are anxious when they are separated from their owners, so knowing how familiar they are with being away from you is very helpful for me to know what to expect! - What form of reinforcement does your dog best respond to? These can be food, toys, praise, beeps, and more! Communication: I think communicating changes in plans in advance is very important when possible, but am very understanding of last minute changes. Vaccinations: I require a picture of your pet's vaccinations after the booking is confirmed, so I can ensure all dogs are adequately protected while under my care. Spayed/Neutered dogs: I currently do not accept unspayed/unneutered dogs, but exceptions will be made for dogs under 1.5 years old. Thanks for your understanding!

A typical day

I think mental stimulation is very important, so I have lots of dog puzzles and activities to stimulate them! I love to cuddle, train, and play with dogs too, with many types of toys to keep their environment interesting and exciting!
