I have over a decade of pet-sitting experience, and a love for animals of all kinds. My strategy is to read the energy of the animal and respond as necessary. I want the animal to feel safe and comfortable while ensuring that their needs are attended to. I was fortunate enough to spend the past fifteen years with a large (60lb) Husky-Ibizan hound mix rescue dog. We found him through Project Pooch, where he was trained by a young man at a Juvenile Detention Center. He was very difficult to walk at first, so I have learned to keep a short leash when it comes to strong dogs that pull on walks and/or are highly distractible. I treasured the opportunity to care for and spend time with him, and would be honored with the trust to do the same for your four-legged (or other non-human) friend as well! Mondays, Wednesdays, and weekends are best for me, but open all afternoons! Tuesday and Thursday mornings I am occupied with dog walks for the time being. There is nothing more important to me than making sure your animal is safe and well. I believe in open, honest, and transparent communication. I appreciate you establishing clear guidelines that I can be respectful of. Something that helps me regarding communication is rephrasing/repeating things. So when you message me, chances are I will repeat back what you've said to ensure I've understood and that it resonates in my memory. I apologize in advance for the redundancy, but am finding this practice worthwhile :)
