Professional care/FullTime/Fence

Pet care experience

There’s just nothing like the connection you can form with a pup. As a lifelong dog owner myself, I know just how important they are to our happiness, so it’s always been a big priority of mine to give back to them whenever possible. That’s why being a dog sitter is a dream come true for me! I love being able to put a smile on their face when they’re with me, and seeing them happy makes me twice as happy! It’s also great to be able to give back to the community by providing owners with peace of mind while they’re away. I just can’t wait to meet you and your pup! My experience with dogs spans my whole life. I’ve never lived without 2-4 dogs around me! I grew up with two European Great Danes and then later added two more pups to the mix later on. I was principally responsible for taking care of them, and I loved spending every day with them. As different pups entered into the fold, my knowledge of different kinds of dogs has only grown. I love meeting new pups and getting to take care of their unique needs and personalities! When taking on a new client, I typically like to schedule a meet-and-greet. It’s a great way to make sure that we’re all a good fit for one another, which is so important to me. Likewise, it gives us the opportunity to chat face-to-face about your pup and your care expectations. No one knows your dog better than you do, so it’s always great to chat with owners in person about what makes their pup tick! Finally, I just love meeting new dogs! I like to get down on their level to show them that I’m a welcome presence here to make friends, and I’m sure we’ll be best buddies in no time at all. I’m a full-time pet sitter, so I’ll be around your pup all throughout the day. They’ll have my undivided attention no matter what! That makes me a good fit for pups that are used to having a friend around them during the day, or those who could benefit from that! I love being able to provide tons of love to my canine companions. I also love to send regular updates with accompanying pictures so you can see just how much fun your pup and I are having together! With that, that means that I’ll also be readily accessible for any questions or concerns that might arise. I’m always just a phone call away!

Lily was such a great overnight sitter for my energetic 6 month old puppy! He had a lot of fun playing with her dog, Gucci, so much that he was not pleased when he had to leave! Definitely recommend!

Disappointed. After one day, Lily had a family emergency and could not board our dog. This was quite a surprise and Rover.com had to step in to find another Sitter. It was again disappointing to place our pet in an environment that he had not previously visited or met the provider's dog, to handle an abrupt change from long distance, and hope things would work out. This caused undue stress. We had followed the meet and greet steps. While quite capable with social media in posting the right pictures and videos, Lily's immaturity, inability to manage her personal affairs, and absence of responsibility, resulted in a poor performance. I would not recommend her again.

Lily was absolutely PHENOMENAL! She watched our fur babies for 2 weeks while we were honeymooning in Italy, and we never felt more than a message away! We got photos and videos every day of the kiddos. She even picked up the house and made sure we were coming home to a clean place with happy kiddos when we returned. Our animals adored her! We will be requesting Lily for every time we leave town!

Lily was absolutely amazing with our cat, Buddy. She watched him while my husband and I went out of town for our wedding. Weddings are stressful enough without having to worry about your pets, and Lily sent us plenty of updates, stories, and photos each day to put our minds at ease. We have already booked her again to watch our dog Roxy and Buddy when we go on our Honeymoon!

Information Lily C. would like to know about your pet

Some things I like to learn ahead of time: Would you like to schedule a meet-and-greet before the stay? What’s your preferred method of communication? Does your pup have any health issues that need to be tended to? For instance, dietary restrictions, medicine, or behavior triggers? Do you have a vet nearby that you trust? Is your dog spayed/neutered? Does your pup like to stick to a given schedule, like regular walks in the morning and evening? What does your pup do well around? What does your pup try to avoid? What’s the best way to spoil your pup?

A typical day

I wake up normally to a pup in my bed and first thing they want is BREAKFAST! I make sure every dog is in a secured area they feel comfortable eating so I can eliminate any chances of issues. While watching them for about half an hour I open the back doors and let them go outside, play, etc. After breakfast, we’ll make sure to take a nice walk together and set the tone for the day. From then on, the world is our oyster! I am happy to do whatever your pup needs to feel happy and stimulated. There’s a great park nearby, Walter Hall Park, that is perfect for exploration and playtime! I love to head there for some fetch and Frisbee. Whatever your pup is comfortable with. In the evening time, we’ll relax together and catch up on some Netflix or reading together, and finally head to bed after a fun day of activity.
