Hi, I’m Lily!
Pet care experience
Since I was born I’ve always lived with lots of dogs and cats. I’m most happy around animals and I love caring for them. On top of owning both large and small dogs as well as cats, I also have dog fostering experience. With fostering, I was the primary caregiver to dogs of all ages and special needs. Growing up, I frequently took care of friends dogs, everything from chihuahuas to Great Danes. I have also always been involved in volunteering at animal shelters. I’m currently President of Man’s Best Friend at Gonzaga and I coordinate 150+ volunteers to Spokanimal, the local animal shelter.

Lily was outstanding. She clearly loves animals and has a lot of experience taking care of them. It was reassuring to know that she's worked as a volunteer at an animal shelter for many years. She knows what she's doing and we felt very good about leaving our Tingo with her. Our dog loved her!!

I always try and make any animal as comfortable and happy as possible. If I see a dog that is shy, I’ll wait for them to warm up to me rather than rushing them to play or cuddle. At the same time, if I sense that a dog has a lot of energy or wants lots of affection I’m more than happy to play and snuggle!!

Please let me know if your pet has any specials needs or concerns I should be aware of - health, behavioral, or otherwise! I am very comfortable and experienced with animals with a wide range of health and behavioral “issues” but it is very helpful to both me and your pet if I know these things in advance.
A typical day
Depending on the dog’s energy level - we would probably go for a nice long walk, check out all the smells in the area. We then might play detach or go back home for some cuddles :)

Availability
I’m currently working part-time and would love to fill that extra time around animals. Since my current lifestyle in a small apartment does not best accommodate having a dog, a love being around them any chance I can get.
