I have grown up being surrounded by lots of different Animals, my first of which were 2 hamsters as a child and a family dog named Scooby. I loved my hamsters and our dog so much, and even though I was only very little, I still got to learn about how to care for them properly. I learnt about the responsibilities of walking, feeding, enrichment, giving love in general, bath time (which was always a very wet experience! Aha) and making sure they were happy and healthy generally. I also pet sitted my neighbours Rabbits and guineapigs whenever they went away or weren’t in for a period of time as I got a bit older, which I enjoyed and taught me about the difference between caring for your own pets and caring for pets that Aren’t your own. The owners trusted me to keep them safe and well exercised/fed and enriched until they returned. I do come across as a trust worthy, sensible person. I’ve always loved looking After animals. and as I’ve previously mentioned, I have grown up having two dogs- one fox terrier- Scooby and currently a Springer spaniel who is very energetic and loves long walks which I also love to do! She is called Belle. My partner also has a Labrador and my dad has a bull terrier so I am used to changing the way I care for and play with different breeds of dogs to make sure they are having the best time and the best care depending on what they need and I love them all for their individualities. I also, quite simply, Adore dogs, and being around them make me happy so I would Be very privileged to work for any owner and their doggie/s!
