Pet care experience
I recently finished at Chico State with a Master’s Degree in creative writing. I am currently working on writing a novel and am looking for a flexible job. I am very reliable and listen to instructions well. I do have another job, but I am able to meet most time requests. I am new to this app but have been pet sitting for about 8 years for family and friends. I have had a Chihuahua, a Yorkshire Terrier, a cat and a bunny rabbit. I have also had experience dog sitting a French bull dog. Cats are my go to but I love a well mannered and lovable dog! I am also more than happy to do extra things around the house such as water plants, get the mail and other things that may come up! Please let me know if you have any other questions!

I am very safe when it comes to animals. With my own animals as well as other people’s pets I am taking care of I always err on the side of caution. I truly love animals so much and would never do anything deemed risky or that would put their health, safety and happiness in jeopardy. While I do already have an idea of what taking care of an animal safely entails, I always stick to the pet owners instructions very carefully since they know their animal the best!

I love nice, well mannered dogs and cats. I love an animal I can cuddle with just as much as I do a playful animal. Please let me know as much info as possible. What would you like them to do? When would you like them to eat? What is their favorite toy? What do I do in case of an emergency? What can I do to better bond with your animal so everyone involved is more comfortable?
A typical day
With both dogs and cats I would give them as much attention as I am able. I love to play both inside and outside so whatever you prefer works for me! I also will rely on your notes and instructions to plan my day and caretaking protocol. You know your family member the best so I will do whatever you and they need.

Availability
I do have another job but my shifts are usually only about 5-6 hours so we can typically find a time that meets both of our needs! I do prefer to do most of my work in the day time but am more than willing to do night feedings.
