Pet care experience
My husband and I have been dog and house sitting for many years. Our 3 year old golden doodle, Zuko, loves meeting new friends and is a great vacation sibling. 😊 We love all breeds and are flexible to their personalities and your style of pet parenting. We have watched dogs with very strict rules and schedules, others with more flexible schedules and everything in between. We love them all! Our main goal is to make your pet(s) feel safe and happy while you’re away. We send regular updates and pictures to give you peace of mind. We love walks and hikes for active dogs or lounging around the house with less active breeds. We have a reasonably sized yard and a park nearby for even more activities!

Dogs that do well with other dogs are welcome! We appreciate knowing their personality, mannerisms, and any that will help make your pup feel more comfortable while you’re away. We do like to do a meet and greet before they stay so you can meet us and your dog(a) can meet Zuko. We find drop off is less stressful on the dog(s) if they have some familiarity with us and our home.
A typical day
We enjoy walks, playing in our yard, hikes, fetch, and tug. On the weekends we love to take pups with good off leash manners and recall to Thousand Acres to run and play! When it is warm enough, we will take them to the river at Thousand Acres to swim as well!

I work from home full time so I am here all day to let the pups out and take them on multiple walks per day.
