Pet care experience
I have worked in a veterinary office for over 8 years. I have been around pets for my whole life being raised on a farm. I grew up with chickens, horses, turkeys, goats, sheep, cats, dogs, and axolotls. I can give any medicine necessary including IV fluids and insulin. I can also care for special needs animals, and I currently own two special needs cats. I also watch the dogs of friends of mine while they are away traveling for weeks at a time.

Took care of my 16 year old Shih-Tzu. Pebbles is quiet and blind but she still needs help getting around and is very finicky about eating. Lilly helped her finish off her antibiotics and was very good at keeping me updated. Lilly genuinely cares and is willing to give your dog the love and attention they need. Would call again. 👍
If you want a pet sitter who is dependable, loving, with vet tech experience, choose Lilly. We've known her for years, and use her regularly. Our 2 dogs love her - even our Shi Tzu mix who is shy quickly warmed up to her. Lilly and our Great Pyrenees mix love to cuddle. She has experience with medicating dogs. She has cats at home, and experience with axolotls as well. We highly recommend Lilly!
Lilly was great! I had no problem contacting/ getting updates from her while I was gone. I never like leaving my dog alone with anybody but when I'm gone, I trust Lilly. She's a very reassuring person. I appreciate that she was very up front about her previous veterinary experience. My dog tends to be really rowdy when it comes to meeting new people. When I came back home, he was perfectly fine with her. You can't go wrong with Lilly.
Her extensive veterinary tech experience gives her a professional level of care that few others can provide. She is diligent, detail oriented, and has a huge love in her heart for animals. Highly recommended!

If pets need medication before food I can give it to them. I am immune to the puppy dog face from working in a veterinary office for years. After pets are fed I like to take the dogs out to make sure they do their business. I know about which dog toys are the safest to use and play with. I also know which treats can break a pets teeth. Any bathing can also be done if they get muddy for some reason. I also keep houses as clean if not cleaner than I left them.

Any special dietary restrictions or allergies. Of course if any medication is needed I can administer it. I can do daily meds for chronic conditions as well as temporary ones for short term illness, and I make sure to follow all Veterinary instructions to a T.
A typical day
I will be able to give a few short walks around the neighborhood, otherwise having a fenced in yard would be preferred. My bones in my legs are twisted more than the average person so walking for long periods for me can be challenging. But I can always take your dog to a dog park and throw a ball all day.
