Hello! My name is Lilly and I am passionate about dogs! Growing up, I have almost always had a dog at home, and so it feels natural to be on Rover offering dog-sitting and walking services. I have various experiences sitting dogs, and enjoy socializing with dogs whenever I can. A few years back when I was working at a grocery store, I came to be known as the local house/dog sitter for my coworkers. I had a great time getting to know my coworkers' pets on a personal level. My experiences included taking care of dogs in their own home, often with me spending the night at their home while their owners were on vacation. At this point, I would prefer to dog sit for people without spending the night at their home, however I am definitely open to it if the service is needed. I do have experience giving dogs medication as necessary. As a trained mental health professional (social worker), I consider myself to be a natural empath, and pride myself being attuned to others' needs, including animals. I have always felt very connected to animals, and put their well-being first. Lastly, I have a huge soft spot for dogs, and consider this opportunity to be a form of self-care for me, with both the dogs and I benefitting from socialization!
