Hi there! My name is Lillian and I am a veterinary assistant in Minneapolis, MN. I am experienced with dogs and cats of all shapes and sizes and will provide exceptional care to your furry friends! I live in an apartment in Northeast Minneapolis with my cats Gustav and Auggie, and my boyfriend Ian. I am experienced in providing care to pets with behavioral issues as well as health issues. My main focus with any pets I am working with is to ensure their comfort and trust in me, as well as their safety. My knowledge of veterinary medicine allows me to offer awareness of situations that could put your pet at risk and notice any signs of distress. I currently am finishing up my undergraduate degree to continue to veterinary school in the future. I work part-time and study part-time through online school. Therefore, I am home for over half the week and would be more than happy to get out to take your dog for a walk or pet-sit at my home or yours! Feel free to reach out if interested! Lillian was SO wonderful to our pets while we were gone! She is caring, responsible and knowledgeable about animals! She communicated with us everyday - sent us pictures and gave us updates. When we got home everything was cleaned up, our dogs were brushed and looked happy. We would recommend Lillian to anyone looking for a pet sitter. We have told all our friends and family how lucky we are to have met her!
Lillian did an absolute amazing job watching our two dogs while we went out of town on a camping trip! She took them swimming, on countless walks & updated us with photos several times a day! You can tell she has a passion for loving & caring for animals. It truly felt like one of my best friends was watching my fur babies with how much care & attention she gave them! I would recommend her to anyone & would give her 100 stars if I could!

My favorite part of pet sitting is creating a bond with the pets. Whatever it is your pet enjoys doing, I won’t let them down! I absolutely love being outdoors, so if you have a dog I will be more than happy to take them on walks, to the park, swimming, etc. If you have cats, i’m all about just laying low and snuggling with a kitty too. I will keep your home spotless and groom your pet if they need/allow it!

I have no breed preferences. I love ALL dogs and cats too! I would like to know if your pet is good around other pets, if your pet has any medical concerns and if your pet has a history of being aggressive or any behavioral issues I should be aware of.
A typical day
Northeast Minneapolis is generally a light traffic area, great for walking dogs! I would walk your dog around my neighborhood and if you are comfortable, I would take your dog to the dog park to play fetch or just run around and play. I also enjoy being by the water, so for those with water loving dogs, I could take them to a safe place to swim! I’d love to explore new places around the metro with your pup as well!

Availability
I’m currently working around 8-10 hours a week and have time every day to make sure your pet has all their needs met! I typically work 1-2 days a week (3-4 hour shifts), and have one class in person at the U of MN St. Paul campus on Wednesdays (9:30 am-11:30 am). Depending on how early ahead you schedule sitting, I am able to take days off of the week in case your pet needs more supervision. Most my classes are online, so I spend a lot of time at home studying and can spend time with your pet while doing so! I am willing to adjust pricing based on the needs of your pet.
