Experienced Animal Caregiver

Pet care experience

I have cared for many animals throughout my personal & professional life. I have experience from working at an animal shelter where I gained extensive knowledge on a variety of different dogs & cats. I am good with reactive dogs, escape artists, special needs (behavioral & medical), & this goes for cats as well. I have cared for animals newborn to senior & am familiar with giving medication if necessary. Friends & family rely on me to care for their babies whenever they need help. I love animals of any breed or size. I currently have a 75 lb catahoula, a 75 lb catahoula/pyrenees mix, & three cats ( two of which have only three legs).

Made our kitties feel cared for and played with them while we were away for Christmas.

Lillian has watched our pup a couple times now and is amazing! She’s super reliable, communicative and always gives a detailed update with pictures. It’s so nice to finally have a go-to caregiver for Millie, and Lillian is definitely ours!

Lillian has watched my dogs and cats on multiple occasions for the past few years. My wife qualifies as a collector (hoarder) of furry creatures and at one point we had 4 dogs and seven cats. With that many pets it is hard to travel anywhere for any extended period of time. We found Lillian on the recommendation from a family friend and she has been a godsend. She is knowledgeable about the nuisances of different breeds as well as incredibly attentive to the specials needs of two our geriatric dogs as well. She has even taken the time to teach our younger dogs basic commands which she has never charged us for. I do not believe this is standard practice for her but she has spent so much time with our pets that I truly believe she loves them as if they were her own. I can honestly say that I have no issues whatsoever with leaving for any duration of time and know with out a shadow of a doubt that not only are we able to trust Lillian with our pets and their well being, but also that she can be trusted with access to our home. It is incredibly hard for me to build the level of trust with someone where I feel comfortable enough to allow them the ability to “roam freely” in my home but trust that they will have the discipline and integrity not to do so. Lillian has that trust and that means the world to me. If she is not available, which so far has never been the case, I would honestly hesitate to go with anyone else. I could not recommend Lillian highly enough to do her, or her services, the justice they deserve.

I live minutes away from several parks & walking trails. I love hiking so I also know many different hiking trails varying in distance & popularity. I am familiar with crate training & can cater to any training that is currently used so as not to interrupt what is being learned.

Information Lillian M. would like to know about your pet

Any special needs or training that is used will be greatly appreciated to know beforehand. I have worked with many kinds of animals but would like to limit the number of surprises.

A typical day

The walks I typically take my dogs & other dogs I have walked vary by their need. Some have been reactive to where I will only take them to certain places with a lesser amount of foot traffic for hiking, visiting waterfalls, etc. Some dogs have lower mobility or energy than others so they will have shorter walks depending on what they can do. There are baseball fields in my area I will let my dog run in (while still on a longer leash since his recall is iffy), several trails nearby, and my car is also equipped with a hammock for the back seats, a guard so they can't jump into the front seat, and harness attachable seat belts so they can enjoy the windows down without worry. I also love to take dogs to get pup cups whenever they are allowed.
