I am a clear communicator all across the board, patient yet firm. Typically when taking care of dogs I feed and walk them, and can also brush/wash if needed. I am in classes in Boston, and can care for pets early in the morning, between 9:45 and 1:25, and after 3:10 during the week. Weekends I can generally do any time of day. I'm different than other dog walkers because I try to establish a connection with each dog, instead of just leashing them up, walking them, then going home. I make an effort to get to know the personality of every dog, and modify how I speak to them as I see fit. Some dogs are more skittish, and can't be spoken to as forcefully. On the contrary, larger breeds of dogs won't take a walker seriously who can't assert (polite) dominance over them. It is important to make the distinction, and I feel that this is one of my strong suits.
