I grew up in an animal-loving household and have experience owning and caring for dogs, cats, birds, fish, rabbits, and even chickens. My dog is Penelope, an English Bulldog who loves naps, snacks, and tug-of-war. She is quite social and absolutely loves meeting people and other dogs. Some dogs can be timid around her due to her fierce look (those bulldog teeth!), however I can assure you her looks are deceiving because she is as sweet as can be. She gets along well with kids and babies too. I have experience administering dog’s medications like pills, supplements, and eye ointments. I am a registered nurse by trade, and although caring for people vs animals has its differences, I have a trained eye for assessing the wellbeing of whomever I am caring for. Nursing skills can be handy when it comes to pets too.
