Lilah Rover I first met Lilah through her parents when her step dad (my long time family friend) married Lilah’s mom. I was surprised just how much we had in common because she is so much younger than me. I work in animal behavior and nutrition, and also do animal rescue work. Lilah impressed me so much initially because she not only took care of all her household pets (their care and nutrition), but she also regularly rescued animals in need. She also cares so much about animal rights issues, and you just don’t see that very often in people, especially people so young. Lilah even taught me about cosmetic products that were cruelty free that I didn’t know about. Her level of compassion is very rare. I went from seeing her occasionally because I was coming over to visit her parents, to seeking her out and talking to her regularly because she has become a good friend of mine and ally in the animal rescue community. I can’t tell you how many times I received a call from Lilah when she found a baby bird, kitten or other animal in distress, after bringing it home to care for it. She also regularly calls me to talk about pet behavior, health and nutrition, showing a genuine interest in learning about how to provide optimal care to all the animals that come into her orbit. Lilah is a true animal lover. She is dedicated, passionate, caring and responsible, and I wouldn’t trust anyone more than her to take care of my animals because of all these qualities. I highly recommend this wonderful girl to anyone seeking animal care of any kind!
