Pet care experience
I have taken care of many different animals in my life, from dogs and cats to chickens and guinea pigs. Many of my friends say that I have better connections with their pets than I do with them, and I have also had two dogs as my own pets throughout my life. What I love about animals is that each one is unique, each has its own personality and, with that, different needs. With each animal I spend time with, I have the most fun getting to know their unique personality and making sure to meet their specific needs, whether that be a lot of gentle love and attention or a 5 mile walk by the beach.

Lila is such a fantastic pet caregiver! She clearly loves furry friends, and not only gives them all the necessary basics, from walking to meal times, but plenty of cuddles and play time as well. She takes time to actually CONNECT with each animal, tending to their personalities in an incredibly well-rounded and caring approach. Lila is professional, timely, and also takes beautiful photos of pets (many of which become printed and framed by their parents!). I can’t recommend Lila’s services enough!

Lila is a cat whisperer! She is amazing with all animals, and they seem to always really like her. She grew up with a dog, and was an amazing caretaker to her. I have a cat, and whenever she comes over, my cat is always by Lila’s side, and loves to be held and pet by her - and usually Bella (my cat) is extremely scared of people. Lila is amazing with all cats and dogs, and even horses. She is also a really responsible and timely person and I would trust her to care for any animal!

I can provide whatever care is needed for your animal, administer medications like eye drops, and will always be attentive to the animal’s mood, never putting them in situations where they feel uncomfortable or scared. I’m extra careful to make sure that gates and doors are shut to prevent animals from getting out and am very cautious while walking of other animals that might like to say hi - making sure it’s safe first.

It’s good to know how dogs feel about other people vs other dogs, and how they like to interact with others. It’s also great to know how long or short of a walk they can typically do.
A typical day
I can walk them along the waterfront, take them to a dog park that’s near my house, or throw the ball with them at the park one block away from my apartment. There are many different options to interact with other dogs or to do our own thing.

Availability
I’m currently working part time with very flexible hours, so I can really create my schedule around animal care! I’m available every day of the week, from Monday to Sunday. I do not have a car but am within walking distance of dog parks and the beach.
