Pet care experience
I have experience distributing medication, managing chronic illness, reactivity, PICA, bite risks, anxiety, and high energy. I grew up rescuing dogs on a farm, worked at a petting zoo, animal shelter, boarding kennel, and I had an internship at a second shelter. I’m going to Vet Tech school in the fall, and I want to keep up my animal care while I’m at it!
Reviews
Lila was absolutely wonderful! She’s warm, personable, and so bright. Ziggy immediately felt comfortable with her. I feel so fortunate that our paths have crossed and look forward to being a repeat client. Thank you, Lilah!
Lila has been super helpful with my dog. She is very considerate and reliable. Would highly recommend Lila to anyone looking for a pet walker/sitter/ any other pet needs!
Lila is wonderful with my dog who is shy and nervous. She lets dogs warm up to her and creates a great relationship.
Lila is incredible with my reactive dog. She’s so patient, gently encouraging, and advocates for him when they’re out in my neighborhood. He doesn’t always like new people but took to her pretty quickly. We can’t wait for our next walk with Lila!!

I prefer 4 walks a day, breaking up feeding into two meals, and playtime in some capacity. I used to form small playgroups, and I have broken up fights between reactive dogs (separate situations).

Information Lila L. would like to know about your pet
I want to know what their triggers are! Obscure things bother dogs and come up on walks. I want to avoid any surprises so let me know what to avoid. I would love to know what rewards they prefer so I can keep them stimulated. I use positive over negative reinforcement as much as possible.
A typical day
We start the morning off with breakfast- I always water down the food. Then we do a morning walk, hitting the dog park if anyone is there. After that I open my windows while I go about my day so they can watch the neighborhood. I do at least 4 walks a day, and playtime at least once. My dog loves other animals so he prefers to play with at the dog park than throw a ball, but toys are always welcome.

I’m a student two days a week, so my schedule centers around my two pets. I spend a certain amount of time in my home daily to make sure their social needs are met.
