Pet care experience
Dog walker ready to help out! I am a tech employee coming out of a recent breakup with a dog-owner. I would love to give your pet a walk either at the beginning or middle of the work day, maybe while you are away or busy with work of your own! Growing up, I lived on the East Coast with my family. There, I took care of my dogs and cats on a regular basis. Over the course of my life, I have owned four dogs and four cats. This has allowed me to gather years of hands-on experience working with animals. I am most often available for regular walks between 9am and noon on weekdays in Capitol Hill. I live a block away from Cal Anderson and would love to walk your pup around there, or perhaps around Volunteer Park. I am excited to explore the city with your dog!

This was our second time having Lila stay with our critters but it was a much longer stay than before. Everything was great! My chihuahua mix was a little nervous at first but she was super patient with him while it took him a day or two to warm up. I appreciated that she was honest about his shyness and by day two he had warmed up and was excited to go adventuring. I would definitely recommend her to anyone.

Lila was great. We have a super easy going cat and a less easy going Chihuahua mix. My hope was that they could just hang out in the apartment and go out for a potty every few hours but on the guest day they were going for walks and it seemed like he was very comfortable with her. On the way back or flight got delayed which caused us to miss a connection. Lila was very responsive as we were trying to figure out how and when we were getting home. We ended up only being a couple hours later than expected so we didn't need to make any changes but it was a relief being able to message back and forth with Lila so we knew the critters would be ok if we were more delayed. I would definitely recommend Lila and may end up using her for dog walking occasionally, too.

Unfortunately, I am not currently available for pet sitting - only for walks. My building does not allow pets, or else I would gladly have them over! When I have pet sat, I like to give my client's pet(s) plenty of love and attention. They may join me for a long walk through volunteer park, hang out with me during the work day, or watch TV with me while receiving scritches at night!
Information Lila F. would like to know about your pet
I specialize in working with small and medium sized pets. I have a soft spot for Australian Shepherds, Boxers and German Shepherds, but I love all dogs! Before longer stays, I would like to know if they have any sort of medication they need to take, how often they need to take it, and maybe a few details about how they behave around other dogs (so I can be prepared!) For overnight visits, I would also like to know if they have any fears - such as vacuum cleaners or lightning storms - so I can comfort them accordingly.
A typical day
I love taking pets to Cal Anderson and Volunteer Park! I find Cal Anderson to be a great place for more social doggos, while Volunteer Park has enough space for less social dogs to feel comfortable.

I currently work from home. While I was dating a dog-owner, I incorporated walks with her into my daily work routine. Now that we have broken up, I would love to take care of a new dog in the mornings or afternoons... Maybe yours?
