Pet care experience
I am the biggest animal lover and my family has owned dogs since I was young. I rescued my dog in 2020 and we have been inseparable since! I am experienced with caring for pets young and old, and am always happy to accommodate certain special needs your pet may have. I am generally available weekdays and most weekends. I am currently taking online courses from home so my schedule tends to be flexible. I have a very secure 6ft fenced yard with plenty of room for dogs to run around. I have my own dog, Clover, and she is a 4 year old husky-mix who gets along with any dog! She is playful but generally pretty chill. I also have a cat who is comfortable around dogs, but I always gate-off my upstairs when furry friends are visiting so that she can have her own space.

Liesel was fantastic! She came over before our trip to meet us and the dogs. She went above and beyond giving us updates, photos, and even cleaning up our house when the dogs made messes. Will definitely book with Liesel again.
First time having to have someone watch my dog and Liesel was great. Was able to meet up prior to booking to make sure my dog felt comfortable with her dog. The pictures and updates during my trip were also much appreciated.
Liesel watched our 6 month old puppy for a weekend, and I can tell Jess had an absolute blast hanging out with her and her dog Clover. Liesel was professional and so easy to work with. I appreciated the picture updates while we were away. We will definitely be asking Liesel to watch Jess again in the future.
It was my first time using rover and having someone else watch my puppy. Liesel was so kind

I have a tall fenced-in yard that your dog can enter at any time through a dog door. If your dog needs more supervision, I can easily close the dog door and only allow them outside when I am out there as well. I also have a spare XL dog crate if they prefer being crated at night.

Please let me know the general temperament of your pet. I’m very accommodating of shy and anxious dogs, and have a quiet room they can rest in, or a large crate if that makes them comfortable. Also please let me know of any special needs your pet my have. At this time, I cannot accommodate dogs who are aggressive towards other dogs or people at my home; however, I am happy to watch dogs with these temperaments in your home.
A typical day
My dog and I typically go on a long morning walk down to Washington park, and then on a shorter evening walk as well. I also do my coursework at my dining room table which looks out into the backyard. It is the perfect vantage point to keep an eye on your pup both inside and outside my home.
