Pet care experience
Growing up, I’ve always had pets, from dogs to bunnies. I dog-sit for neighbors and family, and spend a lot of time taking care of my current dog when I’m home in Wisconsin. He is a young dog that I rescued during COVID as a puppy of 10 weeks; I trained him. My other dog was a senior that just passed. She had some troubles as she got older because she was diagnosed with degenerative myelopathy, which caused paralysis in her hind legs. I worked with her in a wheelchair and swimming therapy and she was in good spirits as much as she could be until she passed. However at my college apartment in Syracuse, I do not currently have any pets.

Because I am living in a townhouse, I can house your pets in my home and take them out in the big grassy area around the building. There are also lots of walking trails, however I do not have a fenced in yard. There is a fenced in dog park nearby. I enjoy walking and/or running with pets and can give any kind of care at a client’s home too!

A typical day
I love to go on walks, and know lots of fun paths around with lots of smells! If your dog enjoys being around water, there are some fun ponds and lakes near me. I also enjoy running and am happy to run with your dog! And I like playing games such as hiding a treat for a scavenger hunt or playing fetch.

Availability
I’m currently going to school and playing soccer at Syracuse, so pet care will best fit into my daily or weekly routine in mornings and evenings (before and after school) and on the weekends. I can definitely stop by throughout the day but I am not home full-time.
