I have been volunteering in shelters and working with dogs for over 23 years. I grew up on an organic farm and was a professional dog walker in the UK. I became a certified dog behaviourist in San Francisco where I was a mentor/trainer there at the SPCA. I am a coordinator for Puerto Vallarta, SPCA in Canada. I also also find dogs loving homes from Iran and Columbia after a tough start in life. I have dog sat many times in the UK, San Francisco and Vancouver, both in my home and the clients home. I have two small female dogs, one Mexican rescue, Pika, and Badger the Boston Terrier who love other dogs and love to play. My world revolves around dogs, ensuring that they are exercised, loved, content and happy and of course that you are happy too. I am open to discuss any particular requirements you have for your pup. I normally do at least three walks a day, plus potty breaks with my two dogs. We can often go for long distances if the weather is agreeable, to the dog beach and back or in the woods. Living such a short walk from the ocean and a short drive to Pacific Spirit park it's a wonderful area for dogs to enjoy. When doing dog walking I usually do an hours + walk for my clients for $35 to give your dog enough exercise in the middle of the day. My husband, and fellow animal lover, James works from home for a tech company based in Silicon Valley and he will care for any dogs that may prefer a less strenuous schedule or extra cuddles. My degree and my second passion life is photography so you will also receive pictures of your pet. I specialize in dogs under 25lbs when boarding as I have found this to be good for both the dogs I am looking after and my own two. I look forward to hearing from you. Liberty and James

Liberty is kind and caring and truly cares about the wellbeing of the dogs she looks after. She is extremely knowledgeable regarding dog behaviour and training and works wonders in helping to solve behaviour problems. My miniature poodle loves to see her and always gets a friendly warm welcome. He also gets along perfectly with her two dogs, Badger and Pika and has a lot of fun with them during the lovely long walks that Liberty takes them on. I know that when he’s with Liberty he’s in good hands, she gives regular updates, sends photos and is extremely easy to communicate with. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Liberty to anyone who is looking for a genuine dog lover to care for their dog, ensure all of their needs are fully met and give them plenty of love and attention.
I first met Liberty when she was walking and training a friend's dog, and we hit it off right away. She has been dog sitting and walking my dog, Molly, since November 2017 and I am so thrilled to have found her! Molly is a rescue and has been a bit of a tricky dog to train, and I felt like I had gotten stuck with progress. Liberty helped us get unstuck and find the missing pieces we needed, and I am so appreciative for that. I also love that Molly gets to go on several long walks every day with Liberty and her dogs, and that she comes home tired and happy. I never worry when Molly is with Liberty because Liberty is so conscientious, attentive, caring, and knowledgeable. It can be hard to find a dog sitter that I feel I can fully trust, and I completely trust Liberty. She takes such great care of Molly, makes sure she is warm enough, gives her treats, and sends me photo and video updates, even on the days where Molly is there for a day. Molly loves going to Liberty's, and doesn't even look back after I drop her off. And that's saying a lot for my little rescue dog. Thank you so much Liberty, you have changed our lives for the better, and I am so grateful.
We had an amazing experience with Liberty! We were gone for two weeks and came every day for feeding and bathroom breaks. Liberty went above and beyond, even taking him for socialization time. And she allowed us to be there with them every day through updates and pictures on the Rover app. She even left us a lovely little note on the counter and some nice organic treats for our puppy. We will definitely be using her again in the future.
I met liberty 4 years ago well walking our dogs. She is one of the most caring and compassionate people I have ever met. Seeing her work with her foster dogs and other dogs she babysits for is amazing. She responds to them with such love and they are so comfortable with her. When I had my first baby 3 years ago she took in our chihuahua dexter like he was one of the family. And the pictures she sent to me made me comfortable that he was in good hands well we where busy with our new addition.

A typical day
Our walks are sometime with my two joining or if you prefer your dog can be walked individually. As I would never want my dogs walked in a large group, I do not take groups of dogs so that your dog has the attention it deserves. Also do longer walks, please contact for details. We walk three times a day to all the local different areas including parks and beaches. We often also take a trip to the beautiful Pacific Spirit Park, a particular favourite is the Sword Fern Trail as there are no bikes which is a much more relaxed walk for the dogs.
