Young pet pawrent ready to help! 🤗

Pet care experience

I’ve been a listed pet caregiver on the apps for over 7 years and a pet pawrent for over 6 years. I was raised with cats and dogs in my family and have grown to love helping people and their pets in my free time. I’m known in my neighborhood for training my cat to follow off-leash on dog walks, and I’ve taught my husky to pull and run with me on the longboard (mushing is his true calling 😋)! I love to train, take fast-paced walks, and help any way I can with sittings and drop-ins. I have a strong attention to details mindset and work full time remotely for a video production agency. I am a VERY skilled communicator and will keep you apprised of all the particulars while caring for your furry friends. Several of my neighbors put their trust in me to care for their pets while they’re out of town or at work. Thank you for visiting my page, and I look forward to meeting you and your fur babies!

Libby pays such amazing attention to our cat when she stops by for home visits. He is very well taken care of, and Libby is extra thoughtful with him and with our home. Thanks Libby!!!

Libby is an amazing caretaker for our dog! She made sure Abby was well taken care of while we were out, and Abby was so happy to have a friend. Thank you!

Libby was fantastic! She took Abby on a great midday walk, taught her tricks, and gave her treats. Abby is very happy.

Safety, trust & environment

I have a fully fenced yard and my pets are familiar with socializing new pups in our household. If you’d like me to come to your spot, I’ll make sure your pets are kept safe no matter your living situation! I am also very familiar administering oral or topical pet medication as needed. Just provide me with the instructions your vet gave you and I’ll make sure it gets done!

Information Libby P. would like to know about your pet

If your dog is reactive around other pets and people, I will adjust my walking locations according to this specific behavior. If your dog needs multiple meet and greet before our first walk, drop-in, or sitting, I’m happy to do so as to avoid any adverse introductions while you are not home. I have an anxious dog at home who sometimes attacks at the door with new people so totally familiar with this process.

A typical day

As soon as I meet your furry friend I will immediately begin with any greeting training to ensure your dog knows jumping is a no-no with me! After we get acquainted, I will familiarize myself with toys, harness, leash and collar, and where food/water + feeding bowls are located in your home. I love to walk by the river and on the trails. During the summer I do my best to stay away from walking pets on hot asphalt/blacktop paved paths. If you are comfortable with it, I am happy to train your high energy pup to run with the longboard. Otherwise, I am happy to run to make sure your dog gets the energy release they need! On walks, I always bring training treats and can bring toys if your pet is distracted easily. Will make sure to let you know of bathroom duties achieved ?? Once we’re back from the walk, I’ll make sure a fresh bowl of water is put out and final reward with pats and playtime.

I work from home most of the year with a flexible schedule. I can fit in those midday walks + drop-ins no problem! During the Spring and Summer my work schedule starts to pick up and I’ll need to commute to my office in Redmond, but all other times during the year, I’m open!
