Pet care experience
I have 6 years of experience volunteering at animal shelters. Most recently I worked at the Humane Society of West Alabama, where I was relied on to feed and walk the dogs in the shelter. I also fostered the most behaviorally challenged dogs and rehabilitated them to make them more adoptable. I moved to Tucson to get my masters in animal behavior, where I hope to use my skills in a shelter to help train the animals so they find homes more quickly, and the families that adopt them have more success bringing the animals home. Since living in Tucson I have administered subcutaneous fluids to my brothers cat every day. Animals have always been my passion and I know how stressful it is to go on trips and leave them behind, so I would love to help lessen that stress in any ways possible!

I have known Libby for many years and as long as I've known her she has had a passion for caring for animals. She has aspired to be a veterinarian since she was a young girl. She fostered dogs all throughout college, caring and loving for them until they could go home with their new families. She has personally recused many animals over the years including two ducklings, a kitten, and two puppies by selflessly taking them into her home to save them from dire situations. I have seen first hand the love she has not just for dogs, but all animals. Your pets will be in good hands with Libby, caring for them isn't merely a past time, hobby, or job, it's what she has devoted her life to.
I have been using Libby to take care of my two dogs (pit-bull/lab mix and longhair dachshund) for about two years now. Each time I have to leave for work, Libby is the first person I call. She has an amazing ability to make sure the dogs feel loved and get everything they need. The house is always as nice as I left it and the dogs are always happy and healthy. I would recommend Libbys service for anyone with any kind of dog size. I have referred her to some of my friends and they all speak just as highly of her service.

Unfortunately the apartment I live in does not allow pets, but I can give very high quality of care at the pets own home. Most pets are more relaxed at their home rather than a new environment, so I find this way to be most beneficial to the pets anyway.
A typical day
I am very active so your pet will get plenty of walks and play time, and for the high-energy dogs I would love to take them on runs!

My schedule is very flexible. I volunteer at a local animal shelter but that is only one day a week, so I can be home with your pets very frequently.
