Hello! My name is Libby and I am from the Columbia/Ellicott City area. I am a lifelong animal lover who is happy to help and knows how important exercise is for dogs to be happy & healthy - I also know this can be tough for dog owners with busy schedules. I have owned a dog for most of my life and consider myself a highly responsible pet owner. I have recently lost my beloved boy, Jonah to canine hemangiosarcoma and while I am not ready for another pup just yet, I want to open my home to watching/sitting pups, as I know that was always a concern of mine with Jonah whenever I needed to travel. I do have a 2 y/o dwarf pit mix named Piglet, who is very spunky and dog friendly. I am currently working from home full time so my schedule is very flexible. I will make the most of the time I have with your pet and make sure they get plenty of exercise, care and love. Please don’t hesitate to reach out with any questions you may have! I have plenty of space for your pup. While I do not have a fenced in yard, we have several fields and dog parks nearby, as well as parks and hiking trails. I love going on walks and that’s something I’ve been missing since losing my dog, Jonah who was always very active.

Your dog would need to be dog friendly, since I currently have a dog. And I would need to know if they were reactive, or maybe display food, toy aggression, which I have some experience with that.
A typical day
A typically day will involve plenty of love and attention to your pup. Playing with my dog, Piglet, who has plenty of toys and bones to share. Also a walk or a trip to a local park, helping piglet with her neighborhood watch and if weather permits sun bathing on the deck.

Availability
I am a full time teleworker, so my schedule is always flexible and I am home all day long. I typically start my work day very early and will be able to go on walks or a trip to the nearby dog park. I live with my boyfriend, who is also full- time remote, so there is always someone around to help!
