Pet care experience
Michael (35, wildland firefighter for the BLM) and I (32, ops for an interior design firm) have a 5 year old female heeler mix who loves other dogs and has a gentle and submissive play style, so you can be sure that your dog won’t be annoyed by an overly excited dog. We have 12 years of primary caregiver experience raising Cedar from puppyhood, as well as our pyr gsd 🌈 who we raised into her senior years (passed in 2022). When we don’t have Rover guests staying with us, we foster dogs and puppies for a local rescue, although we always coordinate care through the rescue for foster dogs when we have Rover guests to ensure there is no overlap.
Reviews
Yay for sleepovers at Liat’s!
Liat and Michael are so incredibly nice and attentive. Our Luna was so happy! Liat sends frequent updates and pictures. Definitely going to be our go to!!
Always a good trip with Liat!
Michael and Liat are Great communicators. They took great care of our little guy. Sent pictures and walked him. I would highly recommend them.

Safety, trust & environment
Our house is on a quiet street with a large and fully fenced back yard, although dogs are never left unsupervised in the yard. Safety is a top priority, so our house is puppy proof and high value items are put away unless we are able to supervise. We only watch one dog at a time, so you can be sure your pup will get plenty of attention! We hope that our dog is treated as a part of the family when she stays with Rover sitters, so we provide the same treatment for guest dogs! Feel free to reach out with any questions you have!

Information Liat A. would like to know about your pet
I'd like to know: -What is your dog’s feeding and going outside schedule? -Is it ok to take your dog hiking? -Crate trained? -Barking habits? -How does your dog react to strangers in the house? Should we keep your dog in a separate room if we have company?
A typical day
We go for a 30 minute walk around the neighborhood before and after work. We love to play fetch with our dog in the yard and have downtime before bed on the couch while watching tv! We like to hike in Millcreek, city creek, and neffs canyon on weekends.

Availability
I work from home, so you can be sure your dog will not be lonely! I walk the dogs for an hour at lunch time every day (or morning in summer). On weekends and 2-3 weekdays, we like to hike in the surrounding canyons with our dog. Guest dogs are welcome to join!
