Mature House Sitter & Dog Walker

Pet care experience

Hello fellow dog persons! I am Lianne, proud member of The Pet Professional Guild British Isles (Association of Force Free Pet Professionals) and NARPS UK (The National Association of Pet Sitters & Dog Walkers). I'm 50, hold a bang up to date City & Guilds Certificate in Cat and Dog First Aid and of course a standard DBS. Since 2016, I've enjoyed a wonderful lifestyle as dog, house & pet sitter between rural Spain, Portugal and the UK. A myriad of references and testimonials from happy owners are available at your request. I am available in and around the Wye Valley and Forest of Dean to walk your dogs, feed and cuddle your cats and small pets, water plants, put your poultry to bed, or even stay at your vacant property to keep your home safe and secure. I'm experienced and confident with medicine administration, insulin shots, raw food diets and special needs.

Lianne (and Jon) provided an excellent dog walking service for our 5 year old Cocker Spaniel, Hazel. I had contacted Lianne very last minute, (the day before!) however she got back to me straight away and arranged to visit my home on the same day, for a 'meet and greet'. Jon was very friendly and approachable, asking all the right questions about Hazel and her walking routine. I felt they were very trustworthy people, we discussed times for the walks and we had no issues leaving a key to the house out for them to use. During the walks, we were sent regular photos and videos of Hazel, which were lovely to see and created peace of mind. A lovely note was left upon our arrival home and Hazel seemed a very happy doggy! The entire process was stress free. We will definitely be using Lianne again and would highly recommend!

Dogs looked like they enjoyed themselves based on the photos and videos I received. Additionally they were shattered in the evening, which is always a plus. Would recommend Lianne and Jon

Lianne replied to my advert immediately, we organised a “meet and greet”. As soon as I met her I knew we were in safe hands. It was a huge relief to find someone kind, caring and trustworthy. Lianne sent me photos and a video of Lulu who looked happy as Larry. Would definitely use again if she is free and would not hesitate to recommend to anyone. Your dog will be well cared for. Thank you. Emma/Matt and Lulu

Information Lianne B. would like to know about your pet

I would prefer to know about a dog before confirming. I don't have any breed preferences though spayed/neutered dogs are more likely to be accepted.

A typical day

18 or so years ago, I was rescued by 2 German Wire Haired Pointers. First came Tasha, then Sol. Each decided that they would like to move in and teach me all about their versions of the world. We had great adventures together and gained Kennel Club Bronze Awards for Good Citizenship. They lived to be ripe old ages and I am happiest putting all they taught me into caring for canine kind.
