Experienced dog walker and sitter

Pet care experience

I have been a walker and sitter for clients full-time since August of 2022. The dogs I care for range from a young puppy (5 months) to a spry senior (12 years), small dog (less than 5 pounds) to large and in charge (+100 pounds). I also am able and comfortable walking sibling pairs! I’ve taken care of dogs, family and neighborhood, since a very young age. I most recently have worked in a top-rated dog day care for over a year, taking care of a variety of age, size, temperament, and breed of dogs. I know how and am comfortable administering medication to dogs. Simply put, I love dogs and would love to add your pup to my list a furry friends I see each week!

Safety, trust & environment

I believe in positive reinforcement to bring the best out of your furry family member. I know and am familiar with many walking paths, parks, and neighborhoods that are safe and dog-friendly. I do not discourage sniffing while on walks, as sniffing is actually great mental stimulation and can tired a dog out in addition to walking! In-home, I like to get in physical exercise through play with toys. If toys aren’t up your dog’s alley, I am able to bring puzzles and other forms of mental stimulation should that be something you desire for your dog. For all my dogs, walking or in-home visits, I give them all the love and attention I give my own dog.

Information Liana W. would like to know about your pet

Please let me know if your dog has any restrictions in their diet, any known allergies (food or environmental), is known to be reactive to specific triggers, or if your dog is on any medications.

A typical day

I typically follow the lead of the dog I am walking. If you’re pup prefers a slower pace to stop and sniff, they are more than welcome to do so. If you’re dog likes to keep up a quick pace and go-go-go, I am able to do that as well. I believe it is important that a dog receives not only physical exercise, but mental exercise as well. Walks, play time, puzzles (including Kongs, puzzle boards, and snuffle mats), and reinforcing good behaviors and training can all be expected during a stay.
