Pet friendly environment

Pet care experience

My family has always own dogs and cats, I've taken care of dogs of all ages. I can play and run with them. I'm available all weekdays. I own 2 pugs now, they are very friendly. I have beds around the house so they feel comfortable. I love snuggling and figuring out what trick your pup knows. I have potty trained both of my dogs. The dogs are never left alone for more than 2 hours, depending on the behavior I would crate the pup while I’m gone. They can run free in the house while I’m there. I would try to accommodate them at night, I want night time to go as smooth as possible, I would let your pup sleep in my bed if that what make them fall asleep all night long. Water is always available. I require to know their food schedule beforehand.

Liana kept it 100. My dog was nervous and shy on her first day

Safety, trust & environment

The first day is the most important day of them all, I will get to know the pup and they will get used to a new environment. I want them to feel comfortable with me enough to stop having anxiety because they’re away from home and their families. Some pups take more than a day to adjust to new environment. I don’t use a crate as a first option but it is the safest way to avoid accidents caused by their anxiety, so whenever I can’t supervise an anxious pup I would crate them until it’s safe for them to be left alone for a couple of minutes without going crazy.

Home

Lives in an apartment
Does not have a yard
Non-smoking household
Has 2 dogs
No children present
Dogs allowed on bed
Dogs allowed on furniture
Potty breaks every 0-2 hours

Information Liana R. would like to know about your pet

I need to know before hand the pup’s food schedule and the amount of food. If the stay is longer than a week I would need an emergency contact. The pup has to get along with other dogs (at least not bark at them) because they’ll mostly share living space with other pups.

A typical day

The activities are based on the energy level of the pup, some like to take naps, other like to play all day long. This activities are the perfect moment for a fun picture and send updates to the family

I work weekends, Saturday and Sunday. I work from home, and have enough time to give potty breaks every 2 hours but I wouldn’t be able to engage in texting the parents while working, expect an update in the morning and in the evenings those two days.
