Pet care experience
I have had dogs since I was a kid and currently have a very active, four-year-old lab mix who goes to the park for at least 20-mins every morning. More often than not, we end our nights with another long neighborhood walk while I listen to a podcast. I had my previous bully mix for eleven years before losing her to cancer. I am used to handling larger, more energic dogs and dog sit for my neighbor's 80lbs bully often (just did so for Memorial Day Weekend.) I also walked another hyper bully breed for another neighbor until they moved. Every morning, I carry water, treats, and a fog horn on me in case of an emergency. While I trust my dog, sometimes dogs will be dogs, so I try to be as prepared as possible in case another dog runs loose.

Liana is without question the definition of an animal lover. She is so caring and attentive with her own dog Pepper and is always bringing her to the dog park to socialize with other pups. She is a responsible pet owner and always puts Pepper first. She has cared for pets of many neighbors and friends and is extremely reliable.

I live in a one-bedroom apartment, and my dog has two beds here—one in the living and one in the bedroom. She loves sunbathing (she's doing so as I write this), so I let her in & out on the balcony throughout the day. I also have a Nest camera to keep an eye on her while I'm out.

A typical day
I love taking my dog and other dogs for long walks through Legion Park, Morningside, and Bayside. She goes off-leash every morning to play with her ball for at least 20 mins. The average is 30.

I am self-employed, so I am able to set my own schedule. My profession allows me quite a bit of flexibility, and I am used to making plenty of time for my own dog.
