Pet care experience
I have years of experience owning pets, but it was only about 10 years ago that I took on a serious role of caring for pets. I have experience with small dogs, large dogs, all kinds of cats, as well as many other types of pets. I also have experience with training dogs, as well. I believe exercise and understanding the many different personalities that can come from a dogs breed, upbringing, or health conditions. I am also a huge fan of research if ever my knowledge is lacking. I’ve always believed that any “bad” or challenging pet just needs more patience and more consistency. I have seen a 180 from a misbehaving pet from simply walking them on a regular basis. I look forward to meeting new furry friends and helping them in any way I can.

I may be biased as Liana's boyfriend, but putting all personal feelings aside, she really is great with animals. My parents have two dogs that are fairly big and unruly. One of them is an escape artist and is impossible to catch. Liana figured that maybe with some exercise she would calm down a bit at least around the house. This dog is not easy to walk. She is strong and wants to go everywhere all at once. Liana actually handled her pretty well and even started practicing leash training. I say start only because it took a couple dozen times of walking to get her to stop pulling. Liana has also helped with behavioral training with both dogs. She reaĺly loves animals and has a soft spot for the trouble makers.

A typical day
We’ll probably just walk around the neighborhood or a park if it’s nearby. If there’s anywhere specific the owner would like me to take their animal, I don’t mind as long as it’s within 10 miles from where I pick up the animal. I have a car suitable for animal transport, as well. As far as fun activities, I think fetch and tug of war are my go-to’s, but I’m always willing to adapt or try new things if the animal has other preferences.
