Pet care experience
I grew up with King Charles Cavaliers and German Shepherds (weird mix, I know), so I can get along with any size and personality. Also, I canvassed for VPIRG for the last 5 years - knocking on doors in the most rural parts of the state - which requires a significant degree of dog whispering!

Liam is my son, so I am a little bias. We currently have two German Shepherd dogs. We've have owned multiple dogs at a time his entire life and you couldn't ask for anyone better to care for you pets. He loves them unconditionally. He will take them for walks whenever his is home visiting and he spends time with them daily. Liam is a responsible and loving pet caregiver. I would highly recommend Liam.
Liam is a true dog lover at heart and he’s trustworthy and reliable. I’d let him care for my pets any day of the week!

I care for each pet as if they’re my own. I would follow the owners instructions to the word - eating and walking schedules, medicine usage, anxiety triggers, etc. I do offer overnight boarding at my apartment in Burlington. Full-disclosure, I do not have a yard (part of the reason I do not currently have my own dog), but I find ample time to walk each dog relative to their needs. That being said, you might prefer dog sitting at your residence over boarding at mine!

Whether or not that dog as an underlying illness (diabetes, arthritis, etc.) so I can take care accordingly. Also, it’s important to know of any history of abuse or propensity for reactivity - just to make sure everyone is kept safe! Reactive or not, I’ll gladly give my best to your pups!
A typical day
Depending on how long the walk or stay is, I’ll take them down to the water front, the dog park (if approved by owner), hiking (if approved my owner), or simply playing fetch outside. Relaxing is fine too for those older pups!

I work full-time in the political arena but work from home at least half the time. I already care for a few dogs in the Burlington area and have found it easy to manage.
